Is there a limit on how many cards I can draw?

On the free plan you get three new cards a day across all four games together. Pro removes the limit, and cards you already drew stay readable either way.

Can I switch games in the middle of an evening?

Any time. Switching does not reset anything, and the cards you already played stay marked as played.

Does it work with no internet?

Fully. Cards, meet-ups and your collection live on the device, so bad signal in a bar changes nothing.

Are the questions we played saved?

Every card you draw is saved to that meet-up, so you can look back at what you talked about. The ones you liked are collected as favourites.

Do the same cards come round again?

Not inside one evening. And a card you did not like can be hidden so it stops appearing.

How many people do you need?

Three games work from two people. Who Knows Better needs three, because its cards ask one person about another.

An argument without a subject. Both options are bad in their own way, so whichever you pick you end up defending it. The trick is in the writing, because a card with one obviously better option is dead on arrival, and every pair in the set takes something away from you either way.

Read both options out loud without hinting at your own
Everyone picks a side before anyone explains anything
Then each side says why, one sentence at a time
The bigger side has to talk one person into switching
Nobody wins and the next card is already waiting

How else can you play?

Without drinking, count who switched sides most often, that person is worth watching
For two, take opposite sides on purpose, even the one you do not believe in
From ten people, split the room physically, left option on one side and right on the other
With kids at the table, the set still works, they choose faster and argue harder

Advice for the host

Everyone chooses first, once one person explains, the rest drift to that side
Ban both and neither, the card works only if you have to give something up
Keep the pace up, two minutes a card is plenty for this one, then move on

Why not make one option clearly better?

Because then there is nothing to argue about. Every pair in the set is written so that both sides cost you something.

How long does a round take?

A minute or two per card. It is the fastest of the four games, which makes it the one to open the evening with.

Is it safe for a mixed table?

Yes. The questions are about choices rather than confessions, so nobody has to reveal anything about themselves.

Can I play in the browser?
